Major Jennifer Price
Major Jen Price is about to start a year-long adventure fundraising challenge for the Veterans Foundation, which fundraises for multiple military charities from mental health, to service families support and combat injury charities. Jen embodies the spirit of Resurgent Fitness, training and eating smart to be the ultimate Everyday Athlete, and dedicating her time and effort to helping others.l
Having served ten years in the British Army, Jen will be leaving the military next summer and has decided to use that time to do something meaningful. The goal she has set herself is to complete 12 arduous challenges in 12 months in 2022, and she isn't messing around! The challenges are multidiscipline and include canoeing, running, cycling, swimming, and mountaineering: In total she will cover approximately two and a half thousand kilometres and climb two of the Seven Summits!
At Resurgent Fitness, we think Jen represents everything we stand for: her focus, determination, drive to succeed, striving to be that bit better every day, and, most importantly, trying something new are inspirational. She hasn't just picked activities which she finds easy or that come naturally, she's got a huge range of challenges in front of her and she's going to have to work at it. Structured, smart training and nutrition will get her through the toughest of times ahead, and we couldn't be more proud to support her!
